Expensive Client Lunch

I was at a business lunch with a client and they ordered the most expensive items on the menu without considering the cost. How can I such situations in the future to ensure that the firm is not overspending on client meals?

I have to admit, this is a tricky one for me. I love trying interesting foods and there have been times when I've been the person ordering some of the pricier options on the menu or have leaned on the budget to eat somewhere I would not usually visit on my own dime. Busted!

There are indeed those clients who will nonchalantly order the top tier items on the menu and then calmly lean back with a sigh of contentment and a smile in your direction when the bill arrives.
