There are sometimes expectations that you will be available to a client 24/7. However, this is not sustainable or healthy.
It can be a challenge to balance the needs of a demanding client with the need for some much needed shuteye.
If you are trying to impress a client by responding to these emails immediately, you are setting a precedent and creating unrealistic expectations. It's a recipe for disaster in the long run and will leave you ragged. They will never suddenly just 'get it' and change.
